Skype not working/Russia-Syria hack?

Hi,



I'm having issues where I cannot contact relatives in Croatia via Skype.



I called Microsoft and they claim that they can see calls from my computer going to Russia and Syria, that I need to "get this fixed right away".


They weren't interested in explaining further. Is anyone familiar with this?




Please help.
